No. CareerMee.com is a reverse job board, which means that candidates post their details and recruiters do all the searching.

Q: I am currently doing my MBA degree. Can I join CareerMee.com to find an internship position?

Yes. Many of CareerMee.com's candidates are currently studying and using our service to find a coveted internship position.

Q: Who can join CareerMee.com?

CareerMee.com aims to offer recruiters the best talent from the world's top ranked business schools and universities. As such, we are selective about which students and alumni can join. A list of accepted schools and universities can be found here

Q: My business school/university is not listed. What can I do?

Please sign up to our mailing list and we will keep you posted about new business schools and universities that we are accepting.

Q: I am currently employed. Is CareerMee.com for me?

Yes. Passive job seekers are highly prized on the job market. Conventional job seeking channels are largely closed to passive job seekers because of the risks that active job seeking may bring to their current employment. CareerMee.com is the perfect platform for you, because your identity isn't shared with recruiters until you accept a contact request.

CareerMee.com also has an option that allows you to completely block companies from seeing your profile at all, to ensure that your current employer won't have any idea you are looking. Q: Can I find out any more information about the positions that are being recruited for?

CareerMee.com turns the application process around: you post your profile, and recruiters contact you if they have a job they think you may be appropriate for. As such, the only way to find out about the positions being recruited is to create a profile and sit back until an employer contacts you. When this happens you will receive details about the company and position.

Additionally, when you've created your account, you will be able to see the currently most popular search terms, which are displayed on your candidate dashboard.

Q: In which countries do recruiters seek to fill positions?

CareerMee.com operates on a global scale and allows recruiters to fill positions anywhere in the world. When you join you can select where you would like to work and where you would be willing to relocate.

At the moment, positions being recruited on CareerMee.com come mostly from Europe and the United States, but we are growing rapidly and as soon as a position opens somewhere, recruiters will be searching for candidates who are willing and able to work there.

If you are seeking to work in an area that isn't well represented by CareerMee.com's companies, then please let us know using the "Favourite Companies" feature and we will work on getting more opportunities in your area.

Q: Do I need to complete all the profile information?

No, you can share as much or as little as you like. However, to ensure maximum exposure to potential employers, we recommend you enter as much information as possible. When your anonymous profile shows up in a recruiter's search, detailed information is much more likely to entice a contact request than just the bare basics.

Q: Can I make changes to my profile later?

Yes. Feel free to make changes to your CareerMee.com profile at any time. Just log into your account and click ‘My Job Criteria' or ‘My Resume' to edit the respective information. As your experience and ambition are likely to change, we encourage you to update your CareerMee.com profile regularly to ensure any contact requests from recruiters are still relevant to you and you don't miss out on any opportunities.

Q: Why do you need my contact information?

CareerMee.com needs your details for two reasons: first, if you accept a contact offer from an employer, we need to be able to pass your information on; and second, your name and business school or university email address is necessary to verify your enrolment/graduation from an accepted university/business school.

Q: Will my contact information remain confidential?

Yes. Protecting your contact information is an integral part of CareerMee.com's privacy policy. Your contact information will remain hidden from employers at all times unless you accept a contact request. CareerMee.com also allows you to completely block any company from seeing your profile.

Q: Will I be informed if recruiters visit my profile?

Yes. CareerMee.com has a sophisticated tracking system that ensures you will always know which employers have been looking at your profile.
